What is The Gridiron Growl?
The Gridiron Growl is a Detroit Lions website dedicated to bringing it's readers quality, relevent, accurate, and entertaining Lions news, insights, and predictions.
At this point in time the Growl has two weekly features and one bi-weekly feature:
Player Spotlight:
Player Spotlights are posted every other week and will take a closer look at players on the Detroit Lions roster who people might tend to overlook or underestimate. The Growl will present all the facts about the player's past and present ability and point out strength's and weakness's of the players game as well as what to look for in the upcoming season.
Picture of the Week:
The Gridiron Growl's "Picture of the Week" will usually be a recent picture that either has relevance in recent Lions news or is simply an amusing picture relating to the Lions for fans to enjoy.
Number of the Week:
The Gridiron Growl's "Number of the Week" will always have a relation to important Lions news or events. The Growl will use the number to transition into talking about recent Lions events or past Lions history in an amusing and entertaining way.
